Displaying Family Photos At Weddings

I soooo wanted to display family and childhood pictures at our wedding, but my husband and I had way too many things going on at the time. So for the sake of our sanity, a few projects were dropped along the way leading up to the altar. Family and childhood photos of the couple are definitely something I love to see at a wedding. Besides the typical PowerPoint or video presentations, here are a few of my favorite display options. The best part about these options: they also serve as decorations! Now who wouldn't like double-duty (read money-saving) items for their wedding?

Any creative ways to display family photos at weddings that you would like to share?

As you can see on facebook (amidst our MILLION of wedding pictures)... or maybe I'll plan a post on the blog this week to show it... we displayed pictures on a mantle at our reception. We had an engagement picture of us in the middle (8x10) then pictures of our parents on their wedding day on either side of our picture (5x7) and pictures of our grandparents on their weddings days out from the parents' pictures (4x6).

Then we had a sign above that said "And they lived Happily Ever After".

It was one of my favorite personal touches of the reception.

Mrs Miller, oh my, I LOVE that! And you know what's refreshing? The generations of happy marriages represented. That's a blessing.
